Curry

     TO start off, Steph Curry is one heck of a basketball player. He has one of the best shots in the NBA. Through out his year playing for Golden State he has improved and done fantastic every year.

     First, here is a little history of him. This year is gonna be the end of his sixth year here in a month or so. He was selected by Golden state in 2009 and was the 7th overall pick.  He went to Davidson college in north carolina from 2006 to 2009. he was born in akron, Ohio. And was born on March 14th, 1988. Steph curry is listed at 6 foot 3 and weighing 190 pounds. without his size really he is a quick point guard.

    Next, has nickname with his teammate Klay Thompson. They are called Splash-Brothers. They call them that because in the 2012-2013 season Steph curry broke a record. For the most three pointer scored in a regular season. He had 272 three pointers that season. The next year him and Klay thompson set another record. For combined threes. There combined threes were and outstanding 484 three pointer scored in a single season! That season steph also broke the same record he had. With 273 pointers breaking his old record.

     Next, other than playing for the Warriors he has a great endorsements! Curry is sponsered by Under Armour! His jerseys ad clothing sells out quick! But he  has just came out with a new line. His newest line is his Curry 1 shoes! They released a couple weeks back! With a new cool sweet look and style. He has two different cushionings to his shoes. One being the clutchfit drive, which are a solid rubber sole. And he also, has charged foam, more of a cushiony shoes. 

NCAA Women's basketball

To begin, Connecticut Huskies women basketball team has been on a roll. They have done great these past three years winning every year. Three championships in 3 years! That's back to back to back. The huhskies have become a great program.

     First off, the huskies have a lot of history to them..  They play in a decent confrence.. They play in the ACC (American Athletic Conference). Some of the teams in there league are like florida state north carolina, duke, clemson. SO its not like there regular season schedule is a piece of cake but its not extremely hard.  They have won 10 national titles! Three in the past three years. They have also advanced to 16 final fours. They own the longest win streak in college basketball history. At 90 games! One of there biggest rivals is the louisville cardnials. Which they beat in One of there final four appearances in 2013.

     Next, in the past 30 years or so they have had the coach that has led them to this oppurtunity. Their head coaches name is Geno Auriemma. He was born in italy so he is a italian coach. He was an american college basketball coach at connecticut university. He studied at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Auriemma has been the head coach from 1985- present. Since then in 2012 he became the 6th coach to have 800 victories. His overall record is 917-134.

     PLus, they have had many basketball player's go pro after they played college ball. Many have went to the WNBA and many have been the first round picks of that draft. There has been 23 huskies players that went to the WNBA after college to play. Also, there has been and four of those 23 have been  first round picks. They are Sue Bird (2002), Diana Taurasi (2004). Along with,  Tina Charles (2010), and Maya Moore in 2011.

     These past couple years, they've done outstanding! In 2014 the boys and girls won the march madness Ncaa championship! In the first consecutive championship they went 35-4 during there regular season. The next year they did even better! with a stunning record of 40-0! Then this past year they did pretty good as well. Only losing 1 game and winning 38!

     I think that the womens huskies team has done really good winning three consecutive championships. ALl in all, i think that the huskies womens team has become a really good program.
